The Records Unit is part of the Administrative Services Division and is supervised by the Records Manager. Two Records Clerks have the overall responsibility to collect data, record operational activities, and serve as the central storehouse for all criminal and traffic reports. The information is made available to Patrol and Criminal Investigative Divisions, which allow the Police Department to evaluate crime and accident statistics. The Records Unit is also responsible for collecting fines for parking tickets. The Records Unit is open Monday- Friday, 8:00a.m.- 5:30p.m. They are closed on holidays.
